  • I have found new vegan/vegetarian sandwiches at PCC that are just DELISH! 

    Fieldroast Pepperjack sandwich
    The Smart Club sandwich
    Tofurkey Cranberry sandwich  --> for Thanksgiving 
    Falafel Hummus and Veggies sandwich
    Roasted Vegetables sandwich
    Vegan BLT sandwich

    i'm so excited!   
    their meat-less meats really taste like meat!! 

    i could seriously continue staying a vegetarian...   
    we'll soon see...  January 1, 2009 is coming up just around the corner....
    and God and I have been discussing this....     heehee

  • ok, so yesterday i jogged in different shoes [most likely not fitted correctly for my feet] and now my feet hurt!
    they hurt toward the end of my shift at work this morning, so i massaged them for a bit.  they seemed to have felt better, so then i tried to jog at green lake, but it hurt too much i had to stop!   

    my co-worker suggested i just go home and soak my feet in hot salt water.  i think i will try it.  then hopefully i can still jog later today... otherwise, maybe just rest today and try again tomorrow...

    lesson learned:  wear properly fitted shoes for your own unique feet.  it's worth it!

    it's cold out and so i'm going to make meeyuk gook [seaweed soup] and maybe cook some brown rice.

  • hot or iced medium, single shot, half decaf, ristretto [short pull], soy pumpkin spice latte at Peet's Coffee & Tea.    yummy!~

    no more rollerblading at green lake... 
    i'm jogging again!    i've actually missed jogging..  haha.
    my goal was to jog around twice in less than an hour.
    yesterday i did it in one hour!    nice!~
    today i did it in one hour and 5 mins.    (probably because my legs were sore from yesterday, and i also wore different shoes today, which hurt my feet/arches...  will switch back tomorrow and see :)
    i would like to improve my time and distance...  but reminding myself that it's mainly to just exercise and spend time with God... 
    i truly feel His joy, strength, pleasure, and delight when i jog.  lol.  today i even found myself smiling almost the whole time, smiling at people [and receiving smiles in return :] and enjoying His sweet presence and company. 
    it's also a great way to pray/intercede over the ground/area and people [esp. if i see anyone injured, limping, old, etc.]
    *thankful for the wind that cooled me off, the rain/drizzle that refreshed me, the grey sky/clouds to shade me from the hot sun/heat while jogging today...  Trying to be thankful and positive in every situation/circumstance. 

    been eating [meatless] duk bo sam again recently.  yummy & healthy!~

    ok, i'll try to share some more veggie recipes soon...  ^_^V

    - vanilla soy milk [trying to use sugar free vanilla (sfv)]
    - chocolate soy milk [trying to use sfc]
    - chocolate rice milk
    - Genmai cha [green tea w/ brown rice]
    - Hibiscus Breeze cooler [hibiscus herbal tea with lemonade mix at Peet's]
    - various vitamin water
